Aquacize
This class provides warm endurance, resistance training, muscle toning, relaxation, cardio and stretching for the fairly fit individual.
Arthritis Foundation
Using specific exercise routines, this class provides stabilization, helps with range of motion, and helps ease the pains of arthritis while in the water.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are for ages 3+ and are available year-round in our heated indoor pool. Contact Alison Smith at 912-277-2072 for reservations. $22 per 30-minute lesson, or $80 for four lessons.
Starbabies Classes
Available from May until August, Starbabies classes introduce children between 6-months and 3-years old to water safety and help them feel comfortable in the water. These classes do not teach babies to swim, but prepare them for swimming lessons. A parent or caregiver must be in the water with the child, and the class will only be held once four babies are registered to participate. $45 for four 45-minute classes.
Group Swim Lessons and Stroke School
Available from May until August, group swim lessons help children progress from first putting their head in the water to swimming independently.
Once children can swim on their own, Stroke School takes them through the proper mechanics of freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, breast stroke and flip turns. After completing Stroke School, children are prepared to compete on swim teams.
Group lessons usually have no more than 4 children per instructor. Stroke School has no more than 8 children per instructor. 3-5 year olds receive a 30 minute lesson. 6 years and up receive a 45 minute lesson. $71 for eight lessons.
Advance payment is required to hold your spot in a class. Refunds are only given if a class does not meet the minimum number of participants.
