Meadows Regional Welcomes New Orthopedic Surgeon
Meadows Regional Medical Center is proud to welcome orthopedic surgeon William J. Carroll III, MD, to our medical staff.
Dr. Carroll graduated with distinction from Cornell University in Ithica, NY. He then attended the University of Oxford in Oxford, England, before completing his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.
He performed his internship at Cornell Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY, and his orthopedic residency at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. He went on to earn additional, fellowship training at the Southern California Center for Sports Medicine in Long Beach, CA.
During his fellowship, he received specialized training in minimally invasive and open treatments for shoulder, knee and ankle injuries as well as complete management of sports injuries and joint replacement surgery.
Dr. Carroll now brings his considerable experience and expertise to Vidalia Orthopedic Center where he works in partnership with orthopedic surgeon Cullen Scott, MD.
Dr. Carroll lives in Vidalia, GA.
